Bendigo Agricultural Show debuts new function centre

The multi-purpose pavilion hosted all the favourite show competitions and crafts, including cooking, knitting, photography, art and Country Women's Association displays.

Offering a flexible layout, a commercial kitchen, audio visual technology and a balcony overlooking the grass arena, the Showgrounds Function Centre is fit to host everything from intimate weddings, graduations, galas and corporate functions.

It will be an asset to the Bendigo Agricultural Show Society and the Bendigo community for years to come.

The new pavilion is part of the overall upgrades at Bendigo Showgrounds, funded through the Regional Sports Infrastructure Program, which also included improvements to:

• the grass arena
• lighting
• all four entrances
• perimeter fencing and more.

The upgrades at Bendigo Showgrounds and Events are one of three projects in the Bendigo region and one of 18 projects across regional Victoria funded through the Regional Sports Infrastructure Program.
