The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission is Victoria’s independent regulator for the gambling industry. The Gambling Regulation Act (2003) gives oversight to the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission in managing sports controlling bodies events. Sports controlling bodies are organisations that have been approved by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission to provide sports betting for an event.

Sport Integrity Australia works alongside sports governing bodies, the sports-wagering industry, and state and territory regulators to provide clear and transparent, gambling related regulation to protect Australian sport from sports wagering related threats.

Sport Integrity Australia has developed a Competition Manipulation and Sports Wagering Policy to support sporting organisations in managing wagering threats.
