Victorians of every age and ability are being encouraged to move at home and commit to 30 minutes of physical activity a day during the 2020 Premier’s Active April challenge.
Registration for Premier’s Active April is free.
Participants can track daily activity straight from Fitbit devices to the Premier’s Active April website and app. Alternatively, participants can manually log activity.
Participants this year will also have access to the ‘Get Active Workouts’ video series through the app, which features 10 different 10-minute workout ideas to inspire and motivate participants.
A team of Premier’s Active April ambassadors has been assembled to inspire people including footballers Bachar Houli (Richmond) and Emma Kearney (North Melbourne), Paralympian Jessica Gallagher, Olympic middle-distance runner Peter Bol, University professor Amanda Benson and Tom and Captain from Dog Walking Adventures.
