Seven facilities will share in more than $1.45 million from the latest round of the 2026-27 Country Football and Netball Program.

Laharum Recreation Reserve, home of the Laharum Demons Football Netball Club, will benefit from a $250,000 boost to upgrade their oval lighting to competition-standard 100 lux LED.

The Wonthaggi Power Football Netball Club and Wonthaggi & District Netball Association will soon be able to spend more time on their courts thanks to over $222,000 towards 200 lux competition standard lighting at their Wonthaggi Recreation Reserve home.

Other successful projects include close to $100,000 to install a fully automatic irrigation system - helping to weatherproof Terang Recreation Reserve, home of the Terang Mortlake Bloods Football Netball Club.

The Program is a partnership with the AFL, AFL Victoria and Netball Victoria and has now invested more than $44 million into 600 country football and netball infrastructure projects since 2005.
