The Victorian Government is backing Victorian sport, tourism and creative industries, with $150 million to save jobs and ensure our best experiences are available on the other side of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Victorian Government has announced updates to Victoria’s COVIDSafe settings with nearly all remaining restrictions to be lifted statewide for fully vaccinated people from 11:59pm Thursday 18 November.
The Victorian Government is providing more support to the community sport sector to help it recover from the pandemic with more than $10 million in grants now delivered through the fourth round of the Community Sport Sector COVID-19 Survival Package for 6,591 local associations, leagues and clubs across Victoria.
Local sporting clubs will soon enjoy brand new facilities and a new home for netball at Yarra Bend Park, with works underway on eight netball courts and a shared-use pavilion at Fairlea Reserve, thanks to funding from the Victorian Government’s Opportunities in Victorian Parks initiative.
