The Aboriginal Programs Team aims to enable an Aboriginal community-led and self-determining approach to sport and active recreation that is accessible to and inclusive of Aboriginal Victorians

Access for All Abilities is a Victorian Government program which has supported inclusive sport and recreation opportunities for people with disability for over 15 years.

Sport and Recreation Victoria operates 5 residential campsites across Victoria.

Get Active Victoria is the Victorian Government’s flagship physical activity initiative. It supports Victorians to move more, every day.

Physical activity consists of active recreation and active travel. Any physical activity done for exercise or enjoyment is active recreation – like going for a bike ride, swimming, dancing, or doing yoga. Walking or riding to and from school is active travel.

VICSWIM focuses on learn to swim and water safety skills at pool and open water venues across the state.

Sport and Recreation Victoria is continuing the legacy of Change Our Game. We will continue to create the best place for women and girls in sport and recreation in Victoria.

Community sport workforce roles are delivered by volunteers and paid professionals.
