The $40 million development has delivered the new Victorian Cricket and Community Centre, bringing Cricket Victoria’s high performance, administrative, development and training programs into one top-class location.
The transformation provides a second ICC-compliant first-class cricket ground for Melbourne, making it a great venue for hosting Sheffield Shield matches.
The Victorian Government provided $25 million towards the project with Cricket Victoria contributing $6 million and Cricket Australia $4 million. It will also become a vibrant cricket hub, providing great facilities for female, Indigenous, and all-abilities cricket development and a training centre for regional players and coaches.
