More support for families as kids go free to the footy

Families and kids can cheer on their team for less with Kids Go Free in Victoria back for another round of the AFL season.

Victorian kids aged 14 and under can enjoy the 2025 AFL Premiership Season for free in Round 21 thanks to the Victorian Government.

It's the second year of Kids Go Free in Victoria, delivering cost-of-living relief for families and a huge boost for young Victorian footy fans.

Round 21 will kick off the final month of the season with clubs fighting for their finals berth.

The matches in Victoria across the round are:

  • Western Bulldogs vs GWS Giants – Thursday 31 July – Marvel Stadium
  • Melbourne vs West Coast – Saturday 2 August – Marvel Stadium
  • Collingwood vs Brisbane Lions – Saturday 2 August – MCG
  • St Kilda vs North Melbourne – Sunday 3 August – Marvel Stadium
  • Geelong Cats vs Port Adelaide – Sunday 3 August – GMHBA Stadium.

Kids Go Free in Victoria carries on from the success of its debut last season. More than 6,150 free tickets were snapped up for matches in Melbourne, Geelong and Ballarat. This made up over 27% of total general admission tickets issued for the round.

It's all part of the Victorian Government’s AFL Events Package which includes support for the 2025 Toyota AFL Grand Final Parade and Footy Festival.

Kids Go Free in Victoria runs from Thursday 31 July to Sunday 3 August.
