Join our Victorian Aboriginal Sporting Partnership
Published: 25 October 2023Sport and Recreation Victoria is calling on community leaders who are keen to make a real difference when it comes to equity and inclusion for the Aboriginal community in sport and active recreation.
We're seeking applications for the new Victorian Aboriginal Sporting Partnership Working Group.
We are looking for engaged and dedicated leaders who are:
- keen to ensure all Aboriginal Victorians can participate in sport and active recreation
- passionate about Aboriginal inclusion
- Looking to further the influence of Aboriginal Victorians in the sport and active recreation sector.
Members will be appointed for the duration of the Working Group, which will be approximately 12 months, and will meet quarterly from February 2024 until February 2025 and will be remunerated for their time.
Once established the group will develop a formal relationship with the Victorian Aboriginal community and work together to increase participation in sport and active recreation for Aboriginal people.
