The Business and Community Sport Flood Recovery Grants support businesses, not-for-profit and community sport and active recreation organisations to rebuild as quickly as possible.
Eligible organisations must be located within a local government area (LGA) declared under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangement.
The simplest and quickest way to have your Flood Recovery Grant processed and receive support is to first apply for the $5000 one-off Community Sport Emergency Flood Assistance (CSEFA) Program.
Once approved for the $5,000 one-off grant, applicants can then apply for up to $50,000 through the Flood Recovery Fund. Funds can be used to cover expenses arising from significant direct damage to the organisation’s facility and its equipment.
Funding received under the Community Sport Emergency Flood Assistance Program will be included in the total grant amount.
