
The 'Business & Sport for Bushfire Recovery' program calls on business, sport and government agencies to commit to holding meetings, events and other business activities in bushfire affected regions in the next six to 18 months. The minimum stay is two nights.
The program was designed to provide immediate and practical support for local businesses and people in fire affected communities, helping them to recover from the economic impact of the fires.
Thanks to the following sport and recreation organisations that have taken the pledge to do their bit for bushfire affected areas: AFL, Australian Grand Prix Corporation, Carlton FC, Collingwood FC, Country Racing Victoria, Cricket Australia, Cricket Victoria, Essendon Football Club, Geelong FC, Greyhound Racing Victoria, Harness Racing Victoria, Hawthorn Football Club, National Basketball League, North Melbourne FC, Melbourne City FC, Melbourne Cricket Club, Melbourne FC, Melbourne Racing Club, Melbourne Rebels, Melbourne Storm, Melbourne Victory, Moonee Valley Racing Club, Richmond FC, St Kilda FC, State Sports Centres Trust, Tennis Australia, Victoria Racing Club, and Western Bulldogs FC.
