Presented by the Victorian Government and Vicsport, the Victorian Sport Awards is the night of nights for the Victorian sporting community; celebrating participants, coaches, organisers and the volunteers behind the scenes from all levels of sport in Victoria.

The awards provide Victorians with the opportunity to nominate and honour their top performing local athletes, administrators, coaches, officials and organisations.

Entrants in the awards are nominated by friends, family, teammates, club members or their local community in recognition of their outstanding contribution to sport and active recreation.

Every Victorian club, council, team or individual involved with, or contributing to sport and recreation is eligible to be nominated.

The joint awards ceremony to be held 20 February 2019 at Marvel Stadium presents an exciting opportunity to showcase excellence in community sport and recreation side-by-side with achievements in professional sport.
