The Corio Soccer Club now has two sets of gender-neutral change rooms and amenities as part of the pavilion upgrade, meeting Football Victoria standards.
The new pavilion also includes referee change rooms, a first aid room, social spaces, a kitchen, a meeting room and storage space.
The building provides a more welcoming space at the Corio Soccer Club for players, parents and fans, and is the perfect base for them to grow numbers and hold competitions, with nearby schools also able to access the new pavilion.
From new sports pavilions to pitch lighting, investments like these provide high-quality and accessible facilities that allow Victorians to reap the benefits of sport and active recreation participation.
They are also about creating jobs, stimulating local economies and fast-tracking community recovery by improving the health, wellbeing, and social outcomes for Victorian communities.
