The program provides low-cost aquatic education to help children learn water safety and survival skills. It delivers an affordable five-day program during the January school holidays.
Each year VICSWIM takes a record number of enrolments. Last summer more than 10,400 kids took part in water safety activities at 131 venues across Victoria, including both pools and open water venues.
VICSWIM’s water safety and education programs go a long way to preventing Victorian children, especially those aged 4 to 15 years, from drowning.
The activities are also a great way for children to embrace a more active and healthy lifestyle, make friends and have fun.
