This year’s VICSWIM Summer Kidz has made a real splash with Victorian families with a whopping 13,864 kids taking part in the learn-to swim-program – a 30 per cent increase in enrolments from 2018.
The program provides low-cost aquatic education to help children learn water safety and survival skills. It delivers an affordable five-day program during the January school holidays.
From beaches to local pools around 170 Venues across the state hosted the Victorian Government backed program giving young Victorians the vital swim skills they need in and around water.
VICSWIM’s water safety and education programs go a long way to preventing Victorian children, especially those aged 4 to 15 years, from drowning.
The activities are also a great way for children to embrace a more active and healthy lifestyle, make friends and have fun.
