Inner city netball program

The Victorian Government’s new $9.6 million Inner City Netball Program is building 64 competition compliant netball courts in inner-Melbourne, ensuring nobody is turned away from playing the game they love.

Projects that are underway include:

  • Darebin Community Sports Stadium (3 courts)
  • Reservoir High School (3 courts)
  • Thornbury High School (3 courts)
  • Fairfield Primary School (1 court)
  • Brunswick Secondary College (1 court)
  • Melbourne Girls College (3 courts)
  • Richmond West Primary School (2 courts)
  • Northcote High School (2 courts)
  • Richmond High School (3 courts)
  • Martin Reserve (2 courts).

The good news is there’s more to come with even more clubs, associations and schools in inner-city Melbourne set to benefit from the program, which will cater for the growing demand for sports like netball by building multicourt facilities where they are needed most.
